Description
Short: Six calm logic puzzles and a daily one: Sudoku, Bridges, Ships, Lines, Stars and Trail.
Long: Puzzle Picnic brings six logic puzzles together in one calm, cheerful app. There is a new daily puzzle every day, the same one for every player, and every solve earns stickers for an album and a picnic blanket you lay out yourself. Every puzzle has exactly one solution, so you never have to guess, and there is never an ad while you solve.
The six puzzles
- Sudoku: fill every row, column and box with the digits 1 to 9.
- Bridges (Hashi): join the numbered islands with bridges until every island has as many as its number and all of them connect.
- Ships (Bimaru, battleship solitaire): the counts beside each row and column point to a hidden fleet.
- Lines: tap an arrowed line and it slides out of the shape. Free every line, in the right order. Our own puzzle.
- Stars (Star Battle): one star in every row, column and coloured region, and stars never touch.
- Trail: draw one line from 1 through every square, passing the numbers in order.
What makes it different
- Never an ad during a puzzle. Ads only come between puzzles, and Premium removes them.
- One price, once. No subscription, no coins to buy.
- Fair puzzles: a solver checks that each one has exactly one solution, so logic always gets you there.
- A daily puzzle that is the same for everyone, so friends can compare times or challenge each other with a link.
- Works offline and needs no account. It also runs in the browser, and there is a free widget that puts today's puzzle on any website.
The studio
Puzzle Picnic is made by Maestro Software Development B.V., a one-person studio in the Netherlands. One developer, Martijn, builds and runs the app, the puzzles and the website.
